The Turley Zinfandel Rattlesnake Ridge 2021 is a red wine from Turley Wine Cellars, made from 100% Zinfandel grapes grown in the certified organic Rattlesnake Ridge Vineyard on Howell Mountain, Napa Valley, at 2,600 feet elevation.
•Soils: Volcanic red and tuff.
•Winemaking: Hand-harvested, fermented with native yeasts, and aged 15 months in 80% used and 20% new oak barrels (80% French, 20% American). Bottled unfiltered.
•Tasting Notes: Aromas of red and black cherries, lavender, dried herbs, and graphite. Full-bodied with balanced fruit, refreshing acidity, and textured tannins. Best enjoyed after 3-5 years of aging.
