La Cayetana Syrah 2019

La Cayetana is a very small winery specializing in traditional varietals, sourcing its wines from small producers' estates throughout Mendoza. The wines revive ancient winemaking techniques. Eduardo Soler and two friends started this project with the concept of cultivating and vinifying Rhône varieties. Their winemaking ethos focuses on producing fresh, low-alcohol wines with minimal skin contact, indigenous yeasts; honest, easy-to-drink wines. All grapes are hand-harvested, most are foot-crushed with minimal intervention in the vineyards and winery, without corrections, filtrations, or pump-overs.
