Kelley Fox Maresh Vineyard Riesling 2021

“I’m thrilled to offer you what is likely my only bottling of Maresh Vineyard Old Vine White Riesling. Martha

Maresh told me that these vines were the first ones planted by Louie and Jim Maresh Sr.in 1970. When I

moved to Oregon in the late 80’s, White Riesling was very popular and widely planted in the valley, and I

remember buying it along with some others (Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau, and Marechal Foch), including

Pinot and Chardonnay of course, from small, family wineries and thinking how wholesome-looking and great

the wine labels were for a lot of these. I lived in a moss-covered double-wide deep in the Coast Range and just

loved drinking all of these wines in a temperate rainforest with the sounds of owls. Now that I’m old and have

lived here a long time, I’ve been keen to bring back some of those days as I experienced them. I did my best to
