The Hermandad Blend is a red wine produced by Falasco Wines, an Argentine winery with over 80 years of history, now in its fourth generation. This wine embodies the characteristics of the New World, prioritizing elegance, fruit, and terroir expression.

Region:

The grapes come from various terroirs in the Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina, specifically from the districts of Los Árboles and Vista Flores in Tunuyán, and Paraje Altamira in San Carlos. The vineyards are located at altitudes ranging from 1,000 to 1,300 meters above sea level.

Grape Varieties:

The Hermandad Blend is composed of:

Malbec: 45%

Cabernet Sauvignon: 30%

Merlot: 20%

Petit Verdot: 5%

Winemaking Process:

Fermentation: A pre-fermentation cold maceration is performed for 2 days at 8°C in stainless steel tanks. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out with selected yeasts, reaching a maximum temperature of 28°C, with a total maceration period of 21 days. Full malolactic fermentation is completed.

Aging: The wine is aged for 12 months in 225-liter French and American oak barrels, combining new and second-use barrels.

Tasting Notes:

The wine displays an intense violet-red color. On the nose, it offers a complex range of aromas, including spices, candied red fruits, cinnamon, and chocolate. On the palate, it stands out for its excellent volume and structure, with a silky texture and notes of dark chocolate, finishing with a sweet and persistent aftertaste.

This exceptional blend reflects the harmonious combination of different varietals, each contributing distinctive flavors and aromas from its terroir of origin.
