Appellation: Peljesac peninsula, Dalmatia, Croatia

Vineyards are fully organic and are the truest expression of the microclimate and land of Croatia’s southern Dalmatian coast. No irrigation, spraying only with sulfur in April
Manual harvest, slightly raisinated grapes, destemmed, naturally fermented in open vats with manual punchdowns, 6 days maceration. 10 months in 225-liter used French oak barrels, coarse filtration, one year in bottles before release.
This Plavac wine comes from selected southern exposed vineyards in Dingac and Postup. Grapes were picked a bit earlier from younger vines and therfore wine ia softer and more elegant with ligher freshness. Beautiful example of traditional Plavac with a modern touch of freshness. Rich, deep and earthy wine with softer tannins and amazing complexity. Typical plavac plum, fig and blueberry fruit with a touch of fish oil aroma.
